16QAM The full name is Quadrature amplitude modulation , english Quadrature Amplitude Modulation Abbreviation of , It means quadrature amplitude modulation , It's a digital modulation . The generating methods include quadrature amplitude modulation method and composite phase shift method .16QAM It means containing 16 Semiotic QAM Modulation mode .16QAM The block diagram of modulation and demodulation principle is shown in the right figure 1:16QAM It uses two independent orthogonal 4ASK The signals are superimposed ,4ASK It is a signal obtained by keying the carrier with a multi-level signal . It is 2ASK Promotion of modulation , and 2ASK comparison , The advantage of this modulation is that the information transmission rate is high .
According to this constellation ,16QAM and QPSK similar , Its implementation structure is shown in the figure below :
